With the arrival of the 2012 Olympics, large chunks of derelict London will be reborn shiny and new. Books like this are important catalogues of what London used to look like — scruffy and dark.

I am a student studying film and television studies and am planning to make a documentary on how the oiympics will affect the face of Hackney and local community.
Your imput would be very much apprieciated. I am perticularly interested how it will affect the many local artist working in the area and unique cultual scenes that will be lost.
